WeAreDevelopers Conference India marks the first time the WeAreDevelopers organisation brings its large-scale developer conference to India. The event focuses on building, shipping and running software in the AI era, and is aimed at developers, AI builders, platform and security teams, SREs, QA engineers and engineering leaders. The two-day conference takes place on 25 and 26 November 2026 in Bengaluru. Organisers state that it will gather more than 3,000 attendees and over 100 speakers. The format mixes tech talks with hands-on workshops, masterclasses, live coding sessions, coding challenges, an expo floor and networking, with part of the programme organised into thematic tracks. Topics include AI-assisted coding, agents and evaluations, platform engineering, cloud, observability, security and engineering leadership, giving attendees a broad view of how software delivery is changing as AI tools enter everyday workflows. As a developer conference in Bengaluru with an international brand behind it, the event connects India's large engineering community with global practitioners and offers a meeting point for teams navigating the practical side of AI-era software development.

Bengaluru's technology employment is concentrated along the eastern corridor through Whitefield and the Outer Ring Road, where most large engineering offices sit. A late-November developer conference lands in the city's best weather window — dry, temperate, and comfortable enough that outdoor evening events actually work. The corridor is functional rather than scenic, so plan sightseeing as deliberate trips into the older centre.
Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) sits north of the city and is well served by the Vayu Vajra bus network. Transfers to the eastern tech corridor can exceed ninety minutes in traffic, so build in buffer. The Purple Line metro now runs east to Whitefield, which is markedly faster than road at peak hours. App cabs and auto-rickshaws handle short local hops cheaply.
Skip the taxi queue — pre-book a fixed-price airport transfer with Kiwitaxi. Exploring beyond the city? compare rental cars on EconomyBookings.

Obtaining a local SIM as a foreign visitor involves documentation and delay. An eSIM purchased ahead of travel avoids the queue entirely. Set up an eSIM with Airalo before you board and you're online the moment you land.
ISKCON Temple Bangalore. A large modern temple complex on a hilltop in the north-west, combining traditional and contemporary architecture. Visits follow a set route through the shrines and take around an hour. Dress modestly, expect to leave shoes and bags, and go early to avoid long queues.
UB City. A luxury retail and dining complex in the central business district, useful mainly as a comfortable, air-conditioned base for a client dinner or a quiet afternoon. Rooftop restaurants here give reasonable city views. An hour or two, and firmly at the expensive end of local pricing.
Bannerghatta National Park. A biological park and safari roughly 25 km south, with tiger and lion enclosures alongside a butterfly conservatory. It works as a half-day trip if the conference schedule permits. Weekday mornings are best; weekends bring heavy crowds and long entry queues. Tickets on Klook →
Vidhana Soudha. The state legislative building, a vast granite structure in a distinctive neo-Dravidian style. Interior access is restricted, so this is an exterior visit, best paired with a walk through adjacent Cubbon Park. Thirty minutes, and particularly striking when floodlit on weekend evenings.
How do I reach the eastern tech corridor from the airport?
By road it can take 90 minutes or more depending on traffic. The metro's Purple Line extension to Whitefield is considerably more predictable.
What should I expect from the weather?
Late November is dry and pleasant, with daytime highs in the mid-twenties Celsius and cooler evenings requiring only a light layer.
Is it worth renting a car?
No. Traffic conditions and parking scarcity make app-based cabs and the metro far more practical for visitors.
