conventions.io is a read-only directory of technology conferences aggregated automatically from public sources. We do not sell products or services. We do not require account registration. Our goal is to help developers and tech professionals discover relevant events.
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that operates without cookies and does not store IP addresses or personally identifiable information. The following aggregated, non-identifiable data is recorded:

This site does not load third-party tracking pixels and does not set third-party cookies. Sponsored links (see section 6) simply open the partner's own website, which manages its cookies under its own policy.
One strictly functional first-party cookie (cv) is set when you view a page. Its value is the same for every visitor during a given hour, so it cannot identify you; it only lets sponsored-link redirects tell a real page visit apart from automated traffic. It expires after 24 hours.
Conference information displayed on conventions.io is collected automatically from public sources including conference websites and community-maintained databases. We make reasonable efforts to keep this data accurate, but we cannot guarantee its completeness or correctness.

Conference listings link to official conference or organizer websites. Separately, some clearly-labelled promotional placements use affiliate links (see section 6). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites. When you click "Visit Official Website," you leave our site.
conventions.io includes clearly-labelled affiliate promotions: travel services (airport transfers, eSIM data plans, car rental, attractions — served through the Travelpayouts partner network) and the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange. These are plain links: no partner script, pixel or cookie is loaded on this site. Crypto promotions are advertisements only — nothing on this site is investment advice. Attribution happens on the partner's own website after you click, under that partner's privacy policy. We do not currently serve ads via Google AdSense; if that changes, this policy and the consent banner will be updated first.
Links marked "Sponsored" are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not affect which conferences we list or how we rank them.
Conference records are automatically removed when their end date has passed. Cancelled conferences are removed within 7 days. Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
We do not store personal information that can identify individual visitors. If you believe we are inadvertently retaining data about you, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.
