Money20/20 Europe is the European edition of the global Money20/20 series, held in June 2027 in Amsterdam. The organisers describe Money20/20 as a premium content, sales, and networking platform for the global money ecosystem, and the European event serves as the continent's principal annual gathering for banks, payment providers, fintech companies, regulators, and investors. Programming covers payments infrastructure and open banking, digital identity, embedded finance, applied artificial intelligence in financial services, and the regulatory landscape shaping European financial technology. The event pairs a substantial stage programme of executive keynotes and panel sessions with an extensive exhibition and structured meeting facilities used heavily for commercial and investment conversations. Attendees gain a cross-section of European financial services strategy in a single week, direct access to decision-makers at incumbent institutions and challengers alike, and early visibility of regulatory shifts affecting the market. For fintech leaders operating in or entering Europe, this fintech conference in Amsterdam is a fixed point on the calendar.

A payments conference in Amsterdam is held at the RAI complex in the Zuid district, which changes the geography considerably: this is the business south of the city, twenty minutes from the canal ring, surrounded by office towers, the Zuidas financial district and quiet residential streets. Mid-June delivers the longest days of the year. The Amstel river runs nearby and offers the most direct escape from the conference perimeter.
Schiphol (AMS) connects to Amsterdam Zuid station in under ten minutes by direct train, which is faster than travelling to Centraal and materially closer to the RAI. Metro line 52 links Zuid to the historic centre in about twelve minutes. Trams 4 and 12 serve the RAI directly. Contactless bank cards work across all Dutch public transport without a separate ticket.

The Zuidas district has dense coverage, though large conference halls can saturate local capacity at peak arrival times. An eSIM provides an independent connection when venue Wi-Fi is contended by tens of thousands of delegates. Set up an eSIM with Airalo before you board and you're online the moment you land.
Amstel riverside walk. From behind the conference district a path follows the Amstel south out of the city past houseboats, rowing clubs and windmills, becoming rural within a few kilometres. It is flat, quiet and the easiest way to clear a head between sessions. An hour on foot, further by bicycle.
Albert Cuyp Market. The largest daily street market in the Netherlands, running several hundred stalls through De Pijp, roughly fifteen minutes north of the conference district. Stroopwafels are made to order along the run. Closed Sundays. Ninety minutes including the surrounding cafes.
Van Gogh Museum. The largest collection of the painter's work anywhere, arranged chronologically so the shift in his palette reads clearly across the floors. Timed tickets are mandatory and sell out days ahead in June. On Museumplein, twelve minutes from Zuid. Two hours. Tickets on Tiqets →
Amsterdamse Bos. A forest park three times the size of Central Park on the southwestern edge, built as a 1930s employment scheme, with a rowing course, open-air theatre and a goat farm. Ten minutes from the conference district by tram. A half day.
Which station is closest to the conference district?
Amsterdam Zuid, under ten minutes by direct train from Schiphol and a short tram or walk from the RAI complex.
How far is the historic centre?
About twelve minutes on metro line 52 from Zuid to the canal ring, so evenings in the old city remain easy.
What is the weather like in mid-June?
Mild to warm with daylight lasting past ten in the evening, and showers still possible at short notice.
