The Test Automation Innovation Summit is a one-day software testing conference organised by LeadsSpire. Its programme centres on AI-powered test automation, continuous testing, DevOps integration, cloud and API testing, automation frameworks and quality engineering more broadly. The event targets QA leaders, automation engineers, SDETs and DevOps professionals, as well as technology executives responsible for software quality strategy. The Manila edition is scheduled for 22 October 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in the Ortigas Center, Metro Manila, Philippines. The in-person day runs from morning to late afternoon and includes an exhibition area alongside the sessions. Listed topics range from testing AI and machine learning systems and generative AI in QA to performance, mobile and security testing, low-code automation and autonomous test systems. The agenda mixes keynotes, technical talks, expert panels, case studies, live tool demonstrations and a hands-on workshop, with a networking lunch and roundtables providing time for informal exchange. This testing conference 2026 in Manila gives the growing Philippine QA and software delivery community a local venue to examine how automation and AI are changing the way quality is built into modern release pipelines.

Manila in late October sits at the tail of the wet season, so expect heat, humidity and the possibility of heavy rain. The metropolis is vast and traffic is its defining constraint — journeys that look short on a map routinely take an hour. Most conference activity concentrates in Makati or Bonifacio Global City, the two business districts where hotels, offices and restaurants cluster within walkable blocks.
Ninoy Aquino International (NAIA) has multiple terminals and sits relatively close to Makati, though road transfers can take anywhere from 30 minutes to well over an hour depending on traffic. Ride-hailing apps are the most reliable option and avoid fare negotiation. Within the metro, traffic makes short distances slow; where possible, stay walking distance from the venue and travel outside peak hours.
Skip the taxi queue — pre-book a fixed-price airport transfer with Kiwitaxi. Exploring beyond the city? compare rental cars on EconomyBookings.

Mobile data coverage is good across Metro Manila, though speeds vary considerably by network and location. An eSIM arranged before arrival is strongly advisable, since ride-hailing apps are effectively essential for getting around and depend on a working connection. Set up an eSIM with Airalo before you board and you're online the moment you land.
Intramuros. The walled Spanish colonial city, including Fort Santiago and San Agustin Church, which survived the 1945 battle for Manila. Roughly 30 to 45 minutes from Makati depending on traffic. Go early to avoid heat; allow three hours including travel. Tickets on Klook →
National Museum complex. Three museums — Fine Arts, Anthropology and Natural History — housed in neoclassical government buildings near Rizal Park, with free admission. The Natural History building's interior atrium is architecturally striking. Allow two to three hours for the group.
Bonifacio Global City. A planned district of wide pavements, public art and restaurants, and one of the few genuinely walkable parts of the metro. Practical for an evening without committing to a long traffic-bound journey. Around 20 to 30 minutes from Makati.
Tagaytay. Roughly two hours south, a ridge town overlooking Taal Lake and its volcano island, noticeably cooler than the lowlands. A full-day trip best done by hired car or organised tour. Access to the volcano itself depends on current activity levels. Tickets on Klook →
How long does the airport transfer take?
Anywhere from 30 minutes to well over an hour to Makati, depending entirely on traffic. Allow generous buffer time for departures.
What is the weather like in late October?
Hot and humid at the end of the wet season, with heavy rain possible. Typhoon activity can occur, so monitor forecasts before travelling.
How should I get around the city?
Ride-hailing apps are the most practical option. Traffic is severe, so staying within walking distance of the venue saves considerable time.
