Millennium Park and the Lakefront Trail. Free and immediately adjacent to the Loop, the park holds Cloud Gate and the Pritzker Pavilion. From there the Lakefront Trail runs north and south along Lake Michigan for miles. Thirty minutes suffices for the park; the trail rewards a longer walk or a rented bike on a clear autumn morning.

Midway is closer and the Orange Line reaches the Loop in about twenty-five minutes, but O'Hare has far more international service and a direct Blue Line connection.
