Exhibition Wi-Fi is provisioned for a very large trade audience but congests during peak hours. German mobile networks are dependable across the city. Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds. A museum built into the unfinished Congress Hall, examining how the rally grounds functioned and how the city has dealt with that history. Handwerkerhof and old town. A walled craftsmen's courtyard by the Königstor leads into the old town's Hauptmarkt, Frauenkirche and the Beautiful Fountain. March keeps the crowds thin. Two hours on foot, with the Bratwursthäusle a reasonable lunch stop for the local three-sausage plate.
Germanisches Nationalmuseum. The largest museum of German cultural history, from prehistory to the twentieth century, including Dürer works and historic scientific instruments. It is the obvious refuge from a cold March afternoon. Two to three hours; it closes on Mondays.
