FOSS-LÄND x OpenChain is a free community event on open source software supply chain management, compliance and collaboration, organised by the OpenChain Project in partnership with the FOSS-LÄND community and other local and international groups. Part of the OpenChain and Friends series, it brings together open source governance professionals from companies of every size, government bodies, non-profits, academia and independent contributors. The 2027 edition takes place in person in Stuttgart, Germany. The main programme runs on 22–23 March 2027 at the Haus der Wirtschaft Stuttgart, followed on 24 March by optional community events at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation STEP Vaihingen. Proposed streams include open source management and OSPOs, AI in the software supply chain, digital sovereignty, SBOMs, the Cyber Resilience Act and cybersecurity, software-defined vehicles, open source hardware, Women in Open Source and a ROS meetup. The mix of talks and community sessions reflects Stuttgart's automotive and industrial engineering base. Stuttgart's vineyard steps. Public stairways, the Stäffele, climb the vineyard slopes directly from the city centre to viewpoints such as Karlshöhe. It is the most direct way to understand the city's geography. An hour of steady climbing, and best on a clear late afternoon.
