Congonhas (CGH), the domestic airport, is far closer — usually 15–25 minutes away. The metro does not reach Berrini directly, but CPTM Line 9 (Esmeralda) runs alongside the Pinheiros river with stations at Vila Olímpia and Berrini, and it is the fastest option when traffic is heavy.

Avenida Paulista on Sunday. The city's main avenue closes to cars every Sunday and fills with cyclists, street musicians and families. It is a straightforward metro ride from the southern districts and the easiest way to see São Paulo unguarded. Allow two hours, and go in the morning before the heat builds.
Which airport should I fly into?
Guarulhos (GRU) for international flights and Congonhas (CGH) for domestic connections. Congonhas is much closer to the Brooklin conference district, so use it if you are already flying within Brazil.
Do I need a car?
No. Ride-hailing is cheap and universal in São Paulo, and CPTM Line 9 covers the river corridor. Driving and parking in the Berrini towers is the least practical option.
What is the weather like in late October?
Spring, typically 18–27C, humid, with short heavy showers most likely in the late afternoon. A light rain layer is more useful than a coat.
Is English widely spoken?
