Meiji Jingu and Harajuku. A forested shrine precinct right beside the Harajuku and Omotesando fashion streets. The tree canopy makes it noticeably cooler than the surrounding city in July. Walk the gravel approach to the main shrine in about 40 minutes, then drift down Omotesando for coffee and architecture.
Shibuya Sky. An open-air rooftop observation deck above Shibuya Scramble Square, looking straight down on the famous crossing. Sunset slots are the most popular and are best reserved in advance.
